Ferrari have revealed that their 1.6 litre v6 2014 Ferrari engine has been on 'The Dyno.'
"It is a very challenging period for power train people" said Luca Marmorini on the official Ferrari website.
'We are working on the 2012 power train and the rest of the season is very important but no one mentions we also have to work on the 2013 engine with a new installation which is big work."
"At the same time, we have the V6, and the first of the V6's is running on the dyno. It is an interesting project."
Ferrari currently supplies it's v-eight engine to three teams - Sauber F1 Team, Scuderia Ferrari and Scuderia Toro Rosso.
