I was abit dissapointed with my Quail, then Jake dissconnected which made life abit easier at the start also expected a better start, from the start I had a big lead but made a massive mistake at turn 1 allowing Jordi through, then went wheel to wheel through the right hand kink, obviously we touched so I had to correct a half-spin, but good racing from him there, then made a huge mistake at my worst corner on the whole game - Turn 14. That gifted the lead to Linden, which I could not keep up with on standard revs, I then changed to max and I kept up the pace. Then Barrie was right on Linden's gearbox but he then droped back, and I got him at Turn 4. Barrie then made a mistake which gave me a bit more room to breathe. Then had the lonliest race of my whole time in this Group. Great racing to evryone who was up there, congrats to Linden. Well done Martin it's another double-podium for the team! ;)

For my first ever race for this championship i started 9th. When the lights went out i had a good start overtaking the car in front of me and chasing down the man in 7th. I tried to go in the inside of the first corner to overtake for 7th place as the massive crash happened and because i was in the inside of the corner i managed to avoid any cars hitting me and even got up to place 3. Ass i drove after the 2nd man i saw Owen building a massive lead. Eventually the guy in front of me made a mistake and i got up to second. A few laps later Owen made a mistake allowing me to take first place in my first ever race for the championship. But a few laps later i was wheel to wheel again with an unleashed Owen who did anything to take the lead back. Eventually we touched and because i didn't want to take anyone off, i went on my brakes allowing Owen through for first place. 2 corners later i made a mistake allowing Linden through and let car number 4 and 5 come closer. A lap later i made a huge mistake and needed to defend my 3th place. But then a lotus who drove in 5th drove into my back, causing us both to go off track and allowing cars to pass. After the pit-stops i went into a battle with a Ferrari who eventually drove into my left hand side causing me to drop in 11th; out of the points. I did anything in my power to go back in the point but the same lotus who drove me off earlier didn't let me pass. I then made a mistake and let him drive away. In the last la i was saved because somebody crashed or left promoting me to 9th, giving me my first ever points finish in my first ever championship race. Also i didn't lost my front wing, something that like always happen when i play with Linden and co. So what could have been a fantastic podium finish became instead a ninth place, but my great race and the fact that i can battle with Owen for first place gives me much confidence for the next race as I'm looking for a stronger result in China. Qualified 7th with a pretty poor 1:36:8xx, was disappointed with this as had managed about a second better in the Saturday practice races but could not get it right on Sunday.
Start of the race and Josh cuts right across in front of me almost taking my front wing with him, this was so off putting that i lost sight of my braking point and made a slight contact with Stanley (which i thought was the cause of him going off but after reviewing the video posted i could see that in fact it was Josh who caused that, not that i helped matters) and once i realised i had made contact i dived off to the left of the track and into the gravel in an attempt to avoid causing others behind a further problem, receiving a drive through penalty in the process and a slightly damaged front wing. Really sorry Stanley for the slight contact at turn 1.
Im now dead last and managed to overtake 1 or 2 others on the first lap through their various incidents, decided to come straight in at end of lap 1 and serve my penalty and was followed in by Josh who i think was also serving a drive through and one other who was pitting by the looks of it.
At this point im now 3rd last (13th i believe) and slowly started to catch up others in front of me and slowly made my way through the field. All the while Orlando was catching me at a rapid rate, when he finally caught up to me i decided it best not to put too much off a fight up as didnt want to cause further incidents and he was clearly faster than me. He also did me with a nice move on the start/finish straight with DRS.
I had a very enjoyable spell racing against SmokerSniper (not sure who this is as dont know anyones proper name apart from Lightspeed & Orbking) which from my point of view was all very clean and fair.
Towards the end of the race i overtook someone at the start of sector 3 after they had made a mistake and were almost at a complete standstill to move up to 6th and this same person then drove straight into the back of me a few corners later at the second last turn onto the long straight pushing me off track and into the gravel, i was fully expecting them to slow down and give the place back but instead they drove off into the distance. Wish i was paying more attention as to who it was, didnt matter in the end as i eventually caught them back up as they were battling for 5th with myatesFTW and managed to pass them both within a couple of corners of each other and then put a good few seconds gap between us.
On the last lap Stanley was now getting really close as he was eating away the lead i had and i fully expected him to catch and pass me when he suddenly left the race. Ended up bringing the car home in 5th place. Not a bad weekend for Mclaren with Lightspeed picking up the race win and surely we will move off the bottom of the Constructors table now. :)
All in all a good race which i thoroughly enjoyed which is totally different to the crashfest that was Melbourne. Looking forward to China now although its a track that i am very slow around so not expecting a great result there to be honest.
In terms of Driver of the day, i would have said Lightspeed but as hes my TM i guess i cant vote for him. I will instead vote for SmokySniper as i had a great battle with him for a large chunk of the race.
Also i should mention that i witnessed a redbull getting swiped off track early in the race at the final corner which was Awesome231 but again cant confirm who took him off as i passed both cars and wasnt really paying attention.

Started 5th from a bad qualiy i just couldn't hook up a decent lap my best lap which got me 5th was a whole second slower than my best time was a bit disappointed at this point as i knew i could of done better which is always frustrating when you under perform, Start of the race i saw Josh had a good start so i moved over a touch just to remind him i were there but that didn't stop him from going flying into the first corner and taking Stanley out who was fairly clear at the time don't know if his brakes locked or something then i got sandwhiched by Evo on the left i think and someone else on the right 3 cars wide into 2nd corner no damage done but it made me go wide and lost 2 places and dropped to 7th, So i just stayed standard revs and catching Orlando and Josh who both span so i got up to 5th then Richard made an error which got me up to 4th and then i made an overtake into 1st corner against Matt which stuck which got me up to 3rd next up was Jordi and Owen who both made a little bit of contact, Then an error from Jordi and few corners later from Owen which put me in 1st then i saw Stanley coming up quick but wasn't going to fight him as i was planning on jumping him in the pits but he lost it and from there i stayed 1st for the rest of the race once i got on the harder tyre which my set up prefered i could see i were quicker than Owen on standard revs by a couple of tenths so i went max fuel and was pulling away a second a lap once i had a nice 10 second gap i decided to chill out and go back to standard revs and coast it to the finishing line but if i had him closing the gap i had more fuel in reserve and more speed to give felt i had a very balanced setup great racing from most of the guys bring on China where i hope to fight for the win again.
Well done again to the Caterham guys good solid podiums again and well done Toro Rosso guys for fastest laps and well done to all who kept it clean, Don't forget if you hit someone give them the place back and say sorry even through use of headset or on FB after the race.

Accidents happen people do miss braking points etc and end up clipping someone if this happens you MUST give this place back any one caught hitting someone and speeding off will get penalised like Matt did to me on the back straight went straight into me pushed me off track a bit then sped off but then he went into pits for his drive through anyway this would of got penalised but as it was me he hit and i won anyway i didn't feel the need to, Andrew SmokeySniper is Adam by the way you can noramally hear on his headset about 20 kids screaming in the background lol.
Also anyone that hits someone the best thing to do is say sorry on the FB wall after the race we all know collisions do happen and will happen at some point but we have a good group that race together and play other games together so no point making enemies just remember to respect each other on and off track this will aid in clean racing.
